WW2 Bomber Command Losses & Airmen
Project Introduction Page
My interest in Aviation started with a story of a family member who as an inventor designed & built an early flying machine. I then went on to research the service of a Great Uncle who was one of the Aces of WW1 having served with the Royal Flying Corps.

It wasn't until I researched his younger brothers WW2 Service with Bomber Command that became hooked on the subject of Aviation History.

As a Professional Genealogist I went on to assist Associations, Museums & Private Researchers to research Aircraft crashes before going on to volunteer with 102 Squadron Association as their Archivist. In May of 2020 I completed 'The Barmby Moor War Dead Project' researching the lives of over 50 Airmen of Bomber Command who lost their lives whilst serving with the strategic force.

Some of their stories are told here as well as others who served with Bomber Command, the project page will be updated as more men are added so be sure to check back.

Note:- This page along with the Squadron page acts as a website index so that any information on men or aircraft can be easily found. The amount of content depends on the project/article.
